If you are looking for someone to create something unique and special, there are a few things you need to know about how I work before we get started.
Please remember that I’ve created this work environment after decades of learning how I work best - and if you’re paying me, you want my best.
I don’t meet clients face to face. I don’t talk to clients by phone, or via voice/video messaging. I will go back and forth with you until the cows come home via email, messenger or text messages. My brain processes things better this way. If you feel you absolutely have to speak to me in person, I attend a few select car shows each year. You can find these in the ‘events’ section of the website. This is the only time I meet with clients (and I don’t enjoy it). If you want my best, you’ll get my best through written words.
I work best when given a broad scope of work. If you have a specific plan and you have all the fine details already decided, I’m not interested.
I LOVE a theme! If you are looking for something to celebrate your fandom, or pay homage to a favourite book/movie/band/TV show - I am definitely up for that. If you’ve got a broad concept, or even just a colour palette in mind - this is definitely my jam.
If you have a piece of furniture you want reupholstered, and you have the fabric already picked out, I’m not interested. If you want your car fitted with someone else’s upholstery - I’m not interested. If you’re simply looking for someone to do the ‘grunt work’, there are plenty of upholsterers out there who can do it for you.
I’m currently focused on doing auto upholstery in classic VW’s only. Please check the section on auto interiors for more information. Having said that, if you have a cool classic car or hotrod and you want a complete interior, and you will allow me creative freedom, I might make an exception. Send me a message and tell me about your car. I will only take on projects where I am able to create AND install the interior from start to finish.
